The Dutch Dakota Association was founded on March 10, 1982 from an idea by Anne Cor Groeneveld and Gerrit van Gelder. Both pilots at Transavia wanted to build support for bringing a DC-3 Dakota to the Netherlands. Pictured on the left is Margaret van Gelder, also a DDA board member, and on the right is Anne Cor Groeneveld.
