On Wednesday 2 October, our honorary member Martin Schröder passed away.
His significance for DDA, particularly in the period 1990 – 2010, was of great value in the restoration of the PH-DDZ, which eventually took to the skies in MartinAir livery.
With his insights and experiences, he made a great contribution in flying the Dakota, his first aircraft at the start of Martin Air Charter.
Until his last days, he was involved in the ups and downs of our Foundation. On Sunday 13 October, a memorial service was organised in Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk with a fly-by of our PH-PBA, among others. We wish his family and friends much strength in coping with his passing. On behalf of the board and volunteers,
Feije Jaski
Chairman
