On Oct. 28 and 29, our royal DC-3 Dakota, the PH-PBA, made the final round-trip flights of the 2023 season.
Now comes the traditional hibernation. From November through March, the Dakota does not fly because the probability of bad weather conditions is higher on average then than in the other 7 months of the year.
Round-trip flights in storms, rain and low temperatures are much less attractive than in summer conditions.
Winter time will also be used for scheduled maintenance on the DC-3 Dakota.
We expect to publish the new 2024 flight schedule on our website in February.
